Ai Ni is a full time blogger from Jakarta, Indonesia who developed acne and successfully overcame it.
At my-lovely-sister.blogspot.com, she shares her secrets about beauty, fashion and other pretty little things in life.
Your background: What is your age? What do you do?
I am 26, a full time blogger
When did you first get acne? How did you feel about it? How did your friends & family react?
It was when I used olive oil all over my face, because I heard it is good for face.
But after doing this for 3 days, I found out it didn’t suit me well, because it made my face too oily and started developing acne.
My mom tried to help by giving me so many acne products, but it didn’t help at all.
I was ashamed to meet people, and of course I also had to bear with the pain caused by the acne.
What have you done to get rid of acne? How long did it take to fight acne? Did you have any side effects?
Finally I succeed in finding products that suit my skin. It’s not easy to find, because I have tried so many different products before finally finding the one that can cure my acne.
Actually it’s just a normal skin care product, not really for acne. I used a routine skincare cream for about 6 months, and my skin turned out and became very smooth – even better than before.
How do you feel after successfully fighting acne? How do people react when they see you now?
Of course I feel more confident – I can use any make up without feeling any pain or breakout!
My friends all are very curious about what is the secret to have an acne free face. That’s why I have shared my skincare routine at my blog.
Advice for others: What should be done to avoid acne? How should acne be treated if someone gets it?
Find the root of your acne problems. If you feel the skincare that you use right now does not suit you, quickly stop using it.
Find a doctor if the problems really becomes worse. Use a trust-able skincare solution.

If you’re having acne, I recommend not using any makeup initially because it’s just gonna make it worse.
Don’t touch or scratch your acne. And don’t give up finding a good skincare solution that will cure your acne and take care of your skin.
